Son and I took our annual trip up to Mt. Shasta City to perform as a duet in the walk/run. This gig is a trip. The two of us on this itty bitty stage up high with runners/walkers whizzing by us. Vertigo. Best part about it is the love we receive from the crowd. Energy! Love it.
On Saturday, the band played the Paul Bunyan Mountain Blues Festival in Westwood, CA. What a beautiful venue nestled under the pines. It was a warm, delicious day. Nothin' Personal (out of Sacramento, CA) followed us with some classic rock n' roll.
The big news this week was the release of our first CD- only two years in the making! The project encountered delays thanks to me, busy starting my own family. The making of a cd is just like having a baby though- planning, patience and persistence. Maybe not as painful though.
